Where can I find Squp ice cream?
In the frozen food aisle of many supermarkets, from Northern to Central Italy. On the Where to find us page you’ll find the stores region by region.
How should I store the product?
The ideal storage temperature is −18 °C: this keeps the characteristics of the ingredients intact for up to 2 years. Do not refreeze the product after thawing.
How should I eat it?
It is best to take the tub out of the freezer about 5 minutes before eating, to fully appreciate the creaminess, taste and aroma of its ingredients.
Does no added sugar mean sugar-free?
No, and we would rather say so clearly. No added sugar means we add no sugars: only those naturally present in the ingredients remain, and you find them for each flavour under «of which sugars» on the Gelato page. The sweet taste comes from two sweeteners, maltitol and erythritol, listed in the ingredients.
Which allergens does Squp contain?
It depends on the flavour. Hazelnut and Pistachio contain tree nuts, Peanut contains peanuts. Each sheet on the Gelato page shows what the flavour contains and what it may contain in traces: if you have an allergy, always read it together with the label on the tub.
Does the ice cream contain gluten?
Squp is a gluten-free ice cream, suitable for people with gluten intolerance.
Does the ice cream contain lactose?
Squp is naturally lactose-free: it contains no milk or dairy products such as cream, while keeping an incredible creaminess. The product is made with plant-based ingredients, but the accidental presence of small amounts of milk cannot be ruled out.
Does it contain ingredients of animal origin?
No: Squp is made with 100% plant-based ingredients. That is why it is also suitable for those who follow a lifestyle free of animal-derived ingredients.
Where can I read the ingredients and nutrition facts?
On the Gelato page: every flavour has its own sheet with ingredients, nutrition facts per 100 g and allergens.
When can I eat Squp?
Whenever you like, however you like. Squp is an ice cream, and like any food it fits within a varied, balanced way of eating. The ingredients are chosen to balance the product as much as to make it good, and the values of every flavour are in plain sight on the Gelato page.
I have specific dietary needs: can I eat Squp?
Ingredients, nutrition facts and allergens of every flavour are on the Gelato page. If you follow a specific diet, take them to your doctor or healthcare professional: they are the right person to tell you whether Squp is for you.
